(crisp like Cracker Jack)
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 sq. butter or margarine
1/2 c. corn syrup 1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 c. nuts (optional)
6 quarts popped corn -place in a large brown paper grocery bag
Boil sugar, butter, syrup and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add soda and stir; pour over popcorn and stir. Microwave in large brown grocery bag folded over on top, for 1 1/2 minutes. Take out and shake, microwave 1 1/2 minutes more, shake again. Microwave 1/2 minute more, shake again. Let cool. Bang sack on cupboard or floor to loosen popcorn. Enjoy.

Easy Chocolate Pretzels
-Small Pretzels
-Hershey Kisses
-Holiday M&M's
-Holiday sprinkles
Spray cookie sheet with nonstick spray. Put Hershey's Kiss on top of the pretzel, put in the oven for 3 minutes at 275When finishes push one M&M down in the center of the Hershey's Kiss so the Hershey's kiss is flat. Pour sprinkles on top and refrigerate to cool.

Peanut Brittle
Have all ingredients ready.
2 c.sugar
1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
t c. water
1 rounding tsp. soda
1 c. corn syrup
Bring to brittle stage first 3 ingredients. Stir in raw peanuts. Stir until
turning a light golden brown. Remove from heat, add soda, nix well -will
foam up. Pour onto 2 buttered cookie sheets. Spread thin. Cool and break
into pieces. Makes a bunch.

1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp flavoring
1/2 c. water
1 tsp food color
Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, cream of tartar. Stir till sugar dissolves. Cook without stirring to hard crack stage (310). Remove from heat and quickly add flavoring and color. Pour into molds and cool.
